Remote workers can obtain a one-year renewable residence permit with Brazil’s Digital Nomad Visa (VITEM XIV). The primary requirement is for applicants to have a contract with a foreign employer and earn USD $1,500 or more per month or have a bank balance of at least $18,000.
Successful applicants are granted a one-year residence permit with the option to renewable it for an additional year.
